Version 5.1 Released


Version 5.1 has been released.  Let hear how it performs for you.  Hopefully better than 5.0.

Of note - I've been getting about 20-30 spam comments per day so the commenting process has changed a little.  You can still comment anonymously, but you'll need to type in a word for verification.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  Other options are that I moderate all comments (which can cause a significant delay in your comments getting posted, or I could end the use of anonymous comments which I would prefer not to do).
Well, it looks like somebody is still having too much fun adding spam comments to this blog, even with the word verification.  So, from now on, all comments will be moderated (which means that I will take a look at them and approve before they show up.  I'll try to do this 1-2 times per day so if your comment doesn't show up right away, it should at least show up before the end of the day.  I'm guessing that you all would rather proceed that way instead of reading 20-30 comments about porn websites or random jibberish added each day.

    Sound effects for maneuvering is now changed. Very weird :P

      Who ever introduced the new sounds knows nothing about flying a jet aircraft. I hope it is a bug which will be fixed with the next update. The old sound was perfect and one of the reasons why I loved to play. The new sound is just an annoyance and a significant loss of immersion.

    I only have agile planes. Are the sound effects for maneuering different for each class?

      Nope, maneuvering sound effects are the same regardless of aircraft class.

    Sounds like fireworks. At first i though it was the sound of missiles whizzing by, but its the maneuver. I actually think it sounds fitting for my fast planes.

      Wrong you are. You might want to check the trailer of the http://www.blackeaglemovie.com for some realistic fast jet aircraft sounds.��

    it seems like the clouds have changed. they have a little more puffyness and texture now.

    When you fly through explosion smoke, the frames are still jumpy and the response to any operation is delayed. In sum, no further improvement on graphic rendering.

    After 5.1update, there is missile delay in VS mode
    so It is hard to dodge coin missile.

      Even for the mission bonus, the 10 models are not 100% to gain after you accomplish a mission. It is by chance now!

      I hate how it is so hard to get those models. I already wasted so much time on survival and missions and it doesn't seem worth it anymore.

    After update, I can no longer dodge paid missiles as before. As a futile complaint, I reject to play with paid weapon users from now on!

    there are so many videos now watch 60 for 240 medals (THATS how u spell medals idiots) but i agree so unfair. z2 just wants MONEY. I QUIT
