F-12 Talon: Agility Class
Real name: F-16 Falcon
Unlike its weapons class twin, the Liberty, the Talon is a mid-level agility class plane. It has good speed and agility but is basically 2nd rate to the Thresher and Marauder in all categories. I don't see a compelling reason to get this plane - curious if anyone thinks otherwise. I would recommend saving for a Thresher instead.
See PLANE COMPARISON TABLES for detailed assessment of all the planes performance ratings.

Hi, I don't see a lot of Talons, but I think it's a great plane. I actually won most of my earlier matches with this one, as noone could really match its dogfighting abilities, even Threshers.
ReplyDeleteCould it be that different types of planes have different characteristics even if they have the same numerical upgrade ratings? I mean, in real life, the Falcon (on which this is based) was one of the best dogfighters in the air, so perhaps they designed the Talon to be more maneuverable than the numbers would show. What do you think?
Very good question! I have often wondered if there is a "secret sauce" for each plane that we are not privy to see. Maybe somebody from Z2 will read this and respond. :-)
Deletei honestly dont like the thresher that much i bought it just recently and to tell the truth i think that the u-9 raider is better simply because i get like 3 hits on the thresher and i have to hide because i have no armour left so i eventually want to save up and get a f-12 talon, think this is a good choice ?
ReplyDeleteActually, I think you should just upgrade the thresher, it is a good plane
Deleteoh man..., i hate having to buy coins
ReplyDeleteI use this aircraft a lot for Co-Op Survival Mode. It's fast and easy to dodge incoming threats. However, for it's of little use for Versus Mode in the higher levels due to its lack of armor.
ReplyDeleteHey man don't buy coins use tap joy free coins.
ReplyDeleteSounds like this plane is another crappy 145 coin plane, just like the Cyclone.
ReplyDeleteSo is the rayven! Lot's of offense Aven!
