Skin Contest Winner Announced
Z2Live announced the winner of the Skin to Win contest this weekend. Skins were submitted by MSWM players & the winner was based on which skin received the most "likes" on facebook. The snake skin, by Immortal Grimreaper & named rattlefang, received the most likes at 861 votes compared to the SV offering which came in 2nd place at 780 votes. If you follow the facebook discussion, there is plenty of discontent by the SV crowd on the winning plane with claims of voting fraud. I don't know if there was suspicious behavior or not. How can you tell if a "bot" is somehow giving you extra "likes" - does anybody know? I will add that I actually voted for the snake skin myself along with the red/black design & tiger skin. The SV offering of gray with red trim really did not look very original to me, but heh, what do I know.

ReplyDeleteWhy not just have an F-15 with a USAF roundel on one wing and the letters USAF on the other with an American flag somewhere.
ReplyDeleteRight... We still don't have enough f-15 eagles do we? How many more reskins do you want? And how high of a priority should that be when the game is littered with bugs and hackers?
DeleteJust like on SGAS, most of the aircraft have Russian roundels. Though Revo Solutions is in a European country (Yugoslavia/Romania/Hungary).
ReplyDeleteI think you're right , we definitelly need more U.S.A.F Designs. I mean, HECK! most of the planes are US, so why not have US markings.
Nearly all of weapons class aircraft are American, and there are already so may f-15 reskins... How did you come up with us not having enough American jets? We barely have any Russian aircraft.

I don't think we need another F-15, but it IS a very cool plane.
BTW, anonymous, their IS a plane with a US flag motif, it's call the AF-Y4 Saratoga.

DeleteAll the American built planes in SGAS have no American roundels, while the Russian planes all have the Russian roundels.
RFU-27; RFSG; RFMG31; RFT100; RFU37; RFU47; RFT50 (MSWM's very own spectre). That is alot of planes if you ask me.
And the only one with an American rounderl? The RF15X. It has a little white star on the wing.

I'll tell you. The person who made the Rattlefang design used an autolike program to get more likes for his design. That was how he won. Lugg(MetalStorm Forever)does not seem to understand this simple explanation. I witnessed it myself.

+ I only have to pay about a dime for a personalized skin design, on an aircraft that I unlock FOR FREE!!!
