Major PROPS to SOUSOUCELL for the following scoop:
In the first hour after the release of version 4.0.5 last friday, Z2live
accidentally screwed up and released the following 5 planes at
once besides the Reaper. They quickly retracted, but SOUSOUCELL took
some snapshots - great job!!! Those lucky few who bought them during
that hour can still use them, while others will have to wait for their
publishing date, which is within the next 8 weeks.

Until they offer something with better armor regen than the M-11, I'm not convinced there's a better plane than the Raven for survival mode. I can also win or draw most contests in versus with the M-11.

Its funny that you mention the juggernaut because I also pondered on that one - it looks more like the F-14 than any other but the spread wings makes it a little more difficult to confirm
DeleteI've been flying a Dragon for so long I'd really like to invest in a decent Weapons or Agility class plane next for a change, but it's such a shame that the J-35 Dynasty is pretty useless as a top tier Agility Class plane. As a Chinaman, I'd love to buy it cos it's obviously based on China's new J-20, but it's too much money to spend on a plane that is clearly inferior to the Reaper, which I don't wanna buy cos it looks so ugly. Ah well, hopefully they will release a re-skinned Dynasty later on in Weapons class.

In fact I wish Z2 would be a bit more realistic with class designations. Surely the bulky older planes should be Defence class, the likes of the F22 and F35 should be stealth specialists, and the J-20, which is larger than the other 5th gen real world fighters, should be a weapons class... it certainly shouldn't be Agility class, cos agile is one thing the bulky beast won't be.
Does anyone know what the most powerful plane in real life is.

DeleteThe only one fifth generation plane in military service is american F-22 (Thresher and Arbiter). F-35 (Red Widow, Saber, Marauder) is a pussy version of F-22 and is still in development. PAK FA (Specter) is russian answer and J-20 (Dynasty) is a chineese answer for F-22 and F-35.
DeleteThe best fight perfomance IRL is shown by F-15 (Hawken) but it never faced planes of his generation (F-15 is 4gen plane).
The most maneur planes are Su-27 (Raider) family and PAK FA.

It is impossible to compare the state-of-the-art planes as they've never faced each other in combat, and in fact, as TTTriforce said, only one of the 5th gen stealth fighters is currently in service. So the best active-service dog-fighter today is certainly the F-22.
DeleteHowever, swallowing my national pride, in 5-10 years, even when the PAK FA and J-20 come into active service, I suspect the king of the skies will still be the F-22. The J-20 seems to be designed for power-projection (as a mid-range stealth fighter-bomber) in mind as opposed to pure air superiority like the F-22, and the Chinese currently lack the engine technology for world-class performance (China best active service plane uses Russian engines), and it remains to be seen how far they've come with regards to stealth, electronics and avionics technology.
Technologically, Russia certainly has the potential to compete with the USA through the PAK FA, but again it is a multi-role fighter as opposed to a pure air superiority fighter like the F-22. Even if the PAK FA was designed to defeat the F-22 of today, I'm sure the US will have upgraded their F-22s with further improvements to stay ahead of the chasing pack.

how can i get lots of coins on tapjoy
ReplyDeleteBy downloading (and then using once) loads of random apps through the Tapjoy system. It's pretty good, I earned about 100 coins through downloading apps yesterday, though doing it that way is rather tedious.
DeleteThere are also some offers which give u loads of coins, but which u need to pay for. I bought a random game from Big Fish Games yesterday for £1.61 which should gimme 307 coins. I figured it was a bargain compared to simply buying the coins for £2.99 for 110. (Incidentally, why is it that the most value for money offer for coins is the £2.99 pack? It makes no sense to buy the bigger packs when u get more coins buying a few smaller ones.)

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 205, since it'll be top of the range, and all top of the range planes seem to be 205 coins now. That said, who knows, maybe they'll weaken it like the Juggernault.

DeleteZ2Live deserve kudos for MSW but it's clear they either know nothing about real planes or choose not to. AV-8B with stealth? F-14 and F-4s with superior stats to Su-27s, F-15s, and F-22s? Come on! MSW would still be a great game even with realism.

This game is about having fun. Why don't you blame z2live for enldess missiles and cannon ammo? Why don't you ask them for no respawn and realistic turning on and take off. Play simulators if you want realism! Just like Flanker series.
DeleteI'm not asking for a simulator, but that's not to say a dose of reality wouldn't make the game better. Take for example beat-em up' games... the girls in those games (as well as providing eye candy) almost always fulfils the 'fast and agile' fighting class, whereas huge muscle-bound giants can kill u with 2 hits, but are slow and cumbersome. Why? Because it makes logical sense! Wouldn't be weird if some slim girl had greater hitting power than a massive barbarian? Hence no I'm not asking for a simulator from Z2, just a bit of common sense.

ReplyDeleteNo offense but most of these planes are just money grabs for z2...disappointing! Hope the liberty, widow or green eagle comes back! These planes are nothing special...reaper has potential and sentinel is decent but the best has been the Spectre re issue...so I hope the stay on that track instead of this non sense.
